Dear gentlemen,
Apologies for not updating. These are the sentences to learn:
1) Peter dlighted in bullying the smaller boy, whom he towered over. He would pinch or punch him for no reason at all.
2) He reeled backwards under the impact of the blow.
3) Nancy took a deep breath and refused to hand him the money.
Thanks for your kind patience and understanding.

Example of book review 2
Charlie and The Chocolate Factory is a book about a poor boy who wins a chance to visit a mysterious and magical chocolate factory along with four other children. Strange things happen to the children as they tour the factory and their bad behavior gets the better of them!
There is even an old movie made of this book. Roald Dahl has such a crazy imagination! So many strange and funny things happen in the book. I laughed a lot and I found his ideas very interesting. Imagine all four of your grandparents sleeping in the same bedroom in your house. How funny!
Roald Dahl tries to teach us something about good and bad with the five children in this book. For example, the character Veruca Salt is rather spoilt. I think we can all relate to knowing children who are spoiled and most of the time we either just don't like them or we are jealous of them. I can't wait to share this book with my friends.
This is a great book and well worth reading. Have fun!

Example of book review 1
This is an amazingly funny book. The Wimpy Kid series should not be confined to people under 18 so I highly urge adults to read all three as soon as possible. My sides hurt and my eyes watered. The book is so funny and each one is better than the last which means ‘The Last Straw’ is the funniest so far. The author has a knack of mentioning things that kids and kids who have become older can all identify with. It's simply great.
My favourite scene in this book was the gym class in which middle school students are urged by their gym teacher and other teachers to dance the Hokey Pokey! What a nightmare! What fun! Rowley is the sad friend who is embarrassing to be with and makes a great stooge for our hero. Mum is supposedly "hip" and so ‘uncool’ that she needs to be kept in the house and not let out for activities that involve being "with it". Dad can't stay on a diet and Greg's New Year's Resolution is telling everybody else what's wrong with them!
Just a wonderful book and I think that we will see more of them. This is truly a classic series and too good just to be isolated in the kids' section. Adults get your "Young Adult" reading done right away!

Trial Compo 2008
The usual cool evening breeze never fails to send chills down my spine while I jog in the park. Whenever I jog along this pathway, I will always remember that fateful evening…
“Jordan, don’t you need to train more for your national basketball competition in a month’s time?” questioned my mother irritably.
I rubbed my bleary eyes and got up lazily, dragging my feet to the toilet to wash my face. The thought of receiving a gold medal around my neck in front of a huge crowd of spectators whizzed past my mind while I changed into my favourite basketball attire bearing my favourite player’s name, ‘Kobe Bryant’, across my top.
Soon, I reached the entrance of the park. The cool evening breeze welcomed me. Somehow, I felt otherwise as it looked deserted. Immediately, I regretted trying out a new jogging route as it was unfamiliar to me.
“I shouldn’t have been adventurous! I should have just stuck to my usual crowded jogging route!” muttered under my breath, annoyed.
Quickly, I did some warm-up exercises and started with a slow jog to set my nerves at ease. After a while, I reached a path that split into two. Boldly, I chose the more challenging path. Along the deserted path, I observed the unusually thick rows of bushes at my sides. They looked like long scrawny fingers reaching out for me. As I plodded on, my footsteps echoed. I turned around to see if there was someone behind me. A rustling sound caught my attention.
